Areas of the Tahquamenon State Park in Chippewa County are closed due to damaged trails.
Two foot bridges and a boat rental dock have been seriously damaged from high water levels over the winter, and will have to be repaired.
Other damage to the trail will be looked at over the next few days as water level decreases.
"It looks pretty bad," says Tahquamenon Falls State Park Supervisor Kevin Dennis. "We've got bridges and stairways that are destroyed and yeah, mother nature can do some damage when she wants to."
Dennis hopes to have 10 to 15 volunteers help repair the damage within the next few weeks so the trail can be reopened.
