The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warning early this evening for parts of south-central Upper Michigan after a rotating thunderstorm was detected on radar near the Dickinson County town of Felch. As of this writing, there was no reports of any major damage with this storm. However, torrential rains caused some flooding and road washouts.
An anonymous viewer sent in quite a photo taken at Harris right on the Menominee-Delta County border (Image above) This shot certainly shows rotation. I would call this an impressive example of a wall cloud--the type of cloud formation that can lead to a tornado.
