More than 100 runners gathered at Ludington Park in Escanaba Saturday for a 5K run.
It was the second annual Cut, Color, Run. It is organized through the Paul Mitchell School of Escanaba. The event is a large fundraiser for multiple charities in the Escanaba area, raising several thousand dollars. The 5K course had runners going around the entire park. It is timed, but most participants decided to just walk or run for fun.
"I think it's cool, especially when they got people out in the winter doing this," said walker Jody Profit.
The event ended with an Easter egg hunt for the kids.
