With 3,500 tickets sold, the U.P. Fall Beer Festival was a hit with the locals as well as those visiting from all over the Midwest.
This year's dense fog and misty weather at Marquette's Lower Harbor did not keep thousands of people from tasting their favorite beers and trying something new.
At least 10 local breweries as far as Copper Harbor and as close as Marquette were in attendance.
Lines formed outside of the event as beer lovers waited for their chance to get inside and see everything this year's 5th annual beer fest had to offer.
"I like Dark Horse Brewery. It's probably my favorite but there's a lot of other ones that are pretty good. I think you might almost have Wisconsin beat when it comes to beer and I hate to say that," said Doug Hinchley, Madison, Wisconsin resident.
The sold out event marks another successful year for the U.P. Fall Beer Festival.
