Art of all kinds was celebrated on Saturday in Munising. It was the ninth year for the Munising Bay Art Festival at Bayshore Park.
The juried festival is held every year on the last weekend before the Fourth of July. According to Frank Castiglione, the president of the Munising Bay Art Association, 21 vendors participated this year .
"We have music, we have artisan food, we have flat art, we have physical art. We enjoy art; we think it contributes to our economy, it contributes to our health, our well-being," said Castiglione.
Castiglione also had his artwork on display. He creates unique figures out of metal.
