A string quartet's version of 'Peter and the Wolf'

All the way from Miami, Florida, the Bergonzi String Quartet put on a children's concert Friday at Marquette's Peter White Public Library.

Kids of all ages and their parents were treated a four-instrument performance of 'Peter and the Wolf'.

The quartet says they enjoy the event because they've had a chance to entertain a lot of children, both past and present.

"We've had people bring their children to hear our concerts who came as children themselves. They were...six, eight years old twenty years ago. Now they bring their own children to our concerts. So, that makes us feel pretty good." said quartet member Glenn Bashem.

The event was followed later in the evening by the quartet's performance at NMU as part of the Pine Mountain Music Festival.
