Saturday, residents in the Keweenaw enjoyed a little bit of Halloween early.
The Houghton County Historical Museum had their annual haunted train ride. The ride was about eight to ten minutes long but was nothing short of exciting for the toddlers all-aboard.
Things like witches, ghosts and ghouls popped out at nearly every turn.
"I think they were a little scared, but it was more of a fun scare than anything," said Joanna Saatio, a mother from Atlantic Mine who brought her two children. "This was our first time, and it was really exciting."
Museum volunteers say the attraction typically attracts approximately 800 people every year.
