The Michigan State Police will celebrate 96 years of service on April 19.
Friday, the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post is inviting children and adults to an open house. They're offering tours of the facility which also includes a look at the Marquette County Central Dispatch Center and the Negaunee Regional Communications Center.
"It's important that the public sees what we do on a daily basis and gets to see some of the things and tools that we have available to us and how they work," said MSP Trooper Stacy Rasanen.
The history of the Michigan State Police and a number of displays will also be a part of the event. The open house will run from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday.
