Anchor Coupling bringing new jobs to the U.P.

One hundred, new fulltime jobs are coming to the Upper Peninsula. Anchor Coupling in Menominee is expanding; theyâ??re putting in a new facility across the street from their current one.

Anchor makes hydraulic hose couplings for construction equipment, and soon, theyâ??ll do hose assembly. Ideally, they are looking to hire people with some manufacturing experience but mainly, a good work ethic. To find these employees they are holding four job fairs, starting tomorrow.

â??Weâ??re really happy that we have this opportunity to expand up here,â?? said facility manager, Brad Fix. â??Weâ??re really looking forward to meeting people and getting people involved in the local community, here in Anchor Coupling in particular. Weâ??re very excited about the opportunity to be able to add this many jobs to the area.â??

Job fair attendants will be able to apply while at the fair.
