Dozens of bikers spent their Saturday morning racing in Calumet for the Great Deer Chase.
It was the 9th year for the event, and over 150 racers participated.
Organizers say the race was mostly single track by trail.
"Just do a lot of riding, try to find the biggest hills I can find and wear myself out on them," said competitor Paul Dalpra, a resident of Crystal Falls. "The races give you a reason to really stay in shape the whole summer."
Bikers had a choice between a 15 or 28-mile race. The grand prize for the 28-mile race was a $100 cash prize.
