The new production of "Annie Get Your Gun" in Dickinson County will have crowds running to the theatre to see the historic play.
"It's a good story. It's based on a real wild wild west show and the show has a lot of history" says Kristopher Condray who plays Frank Butler.
The show is set in the wild west, so naturally there's plenty of action, but it's also an interesting love story.
"It's a story about Annie Oakley who falls in love with Frank Butler and then joins Buffalo Bill's Wild Wild West Show" says the plays director, Patricia Staller.
Staller adds, "She falls in love with him, he's not too crazy about her. We have other love stories that develop within the story."
The original musical premiered to audiences on Broadway in 1946, but was revived by writer Peter Stone in 1999.
The family friendly production by the Dickinson County Community Theater follows the updated version.
You'll also get a chance to see our very own Abby Miller starring as Annie in the musical.
