The Michigan Department of Veterans' Services and the National Guard are teaming up with Michigan Works for a veterans job fair at the Ishpeming Armory.
The event is part of Veterans Week, and more than 50 companies, employers, and resources will be there. It's an opportunity for employers to see what skills and training veterans have.
Those veterans looking for employment can see if they'll be a good fit as well as network.
"Those military personal are getting excellent training and leadership skills and qualifications and they can bring that back to the workforce and become a valuable player in their work environment," said Mark Tweedale, Local Veterans' Employment Representative.
The job fair is happening Tuesday, November 5 at the Ishpeming Armory from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
