One of the suspects in a Covington Township armed robbery case appeared Tuesday morning in Baraga County District Court.
Donavan Lee Waupoose is facing two counts of armed robbery, extortion, unlawful imprisonment and one count of impersonating an officer.
Waupoose was originally arrested on August 5 in Stephenson after a retired police commander spotted him, leading to a warranted search of Waupoose's home.
The 21 year old remains in the Baraga County jail on a one million dollar bond. On Tuesday morning, his attorney failed to appear in court. Waupoose's preliminary hearing has been rescheduled for next week.
