A Marquette attorney was taken into custody briefly on Wednesday in a case involving the non-payment of parking tickets.
Court officials say James Nancarrow was arrested at the County Courthouse for failure to appear at a show-cause hearing last week.
Authorities say he owed $2,250 in parking tickets.
He was booked on the charge, then released immediately on personal recognizance.
Officials say he has now paid the fines, and the civil bench warrant has been lifted.
