According to the Kingsford Public Safety, officials are still looking for the suspect of a bank robbery which took place at 12:45 Wednesday afternoon at the Range Bank near Shopko and Kingsford Natural Foods.

Kingsford Public Safety has set up a command station near the scene where they are taking information and collecting evidence. They are looking for a female, 5'10" to 6' in height, thin and wearing sweat pants. She is believed to be with a male subject, but it is possible she is alone. It is also possible she is in a 2002 silver Pontiac Bonneville, however, according to Lt. Tim Gussert of Kingsford Public Safety, there have been many different vehicle descriptions.

The money was apparently put in a black backpack inside a Wal-Mart bag.

At one point, police were surrounding the bank. An eyewitness told TV6 four or five women were released from the back door of the bank. They had their hands up and went into a church after they were searched and cleared.

We'll have more information for you as it comes in. Check back often as this situation develops.
