The Bayshore Park in Munising is hosting Art in the Park every Monday and Wednesday this summer.
The event is in its second year and runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through September. Nearly 20 vendors come and go throughout the day and sell everything from jewelry, crafts, crocheted goods, food and woodwork. Vendors say selling their items over the summer is more successful because of the added tourism.
"It's just nice to be able to use the park and have something going on," says Art in the Park director Diane Howard. "I just think it's a really good thing for the community and like I said vendors from the local area come and sell whatever they want."
Anyone can come and sell their goods at the park. No vendor is turned away.
Art in the Park is also followed by a farmers market at the Bayshore Park from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
