Beer lovers fall in line for Beer Fest

The fifth annual U.P. Fall Beer Festival is coming to Lower Harbor Park in Marquette this Saturday. The event will feature almost 300 locally made craft beers from breweries all across Michigan. Live music will also be part of the entertainment, bands Chasin' Steel and the Blackrocks Band will be performing. Local brewers say this is a good chance to see what Michigan craft beer is all about.

"It's a great opportunity for a lot of people to come and if you've only been drinking macro brews for most of your life and you want to see what's out there what better place to do it than to come to a place where pretty much all the Michigan breweries come and put out their wares," said Jasper Ridge Brewmaster Brett Helzer.

The festival gets started at 1 p.m. and goes until 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 and are available online, designated driver tickets are only $5. If you're interested in tickets, we've created a link right here.
