The annual Blueberry Festival is coming to Marquette in July, and now's your chance to help select the poster for the event.
Each year the Downtown Development Authority takes submissions from local artists for the festival poster. The art is on display inside Marquette's City Hall on Baraga Avenue, or you can view them online.
Voting is open now through May 29. The winning artist gets $150 in downtown gift certificates.
"It's an opportunity for the public to help us make the decision on the Blueberry Festival poster, and they really have kind of become a collector's item. We do a minimum number of prints, and once the prints are gone, they're no longer available," said Mona Lang of the Marquette DDA.
