The Marquette Area Blues Society is looking for volunteers for this year's Blues Festival at Marquette's Lower Harbor Park.
Volunteers are needed Thursday through Monday of Labor Day weekend. The festival usually takes place on just Saturday and Sunday, but this year there will be a free Friday show as well. Festival personnel say there will be no shortage of things to do for anyone thinking of volunteering.
"We've got all kinds of positions open," says Blue Society President Mark Hamari. "You can do anything from selling merchandise, pouring beer, working taking tickets and doing security. So, anyone is free to volunteer."
Volunteers who work one four-hour shift will get a free t-shirt. Two four-hour shifts will get you a t-shirt and your ticket money reimbursed.
