Police are investigating the death of a 55-year-old Menominee woman, identified as Bonnie Ruleau, after her body was discovered on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Menominee City Police Department, Ruleau's body was discovered around noon on Tuesday after investigating her disappearance. Police report that a call was received at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday regarding Ruleau, who was missing at the time.
Her body was discovered in the water along the shoreline in front of her home on First Street in Menominee. Ruleau was employed as the Executive Director for the Menominee Housing Commission.
Her body is scheduled for an autopsy at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Police are expected to release more information as it becomes available.
