The body of an Eastpointe, Michigan man who went missing Thursday night around 11 p.m., was found by the Keweenaw County Sheriff's Office Friday afternoon.
The sheriff's office said 48-year-old Paul Francis Lempke was camping with a friend at the Kauppi Resort and Campground on the Gay-Lac La Belle Road, north of Gay in Sherman Township.
Lempke went for a walk and was last seen walking along a break wall near the docks at the resort.
Superior Search and Rescue, along with a DNR aircraft, helped in the search.
Lempke's body was recovered from Lake Superior near the docks, at 4 p.m.
The Keweenaw County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the cause of death.
