Bonanza Family Restaurant is closing one day sooner than planned.
Anyone hoping to have their farewell meal Sunday will be out of luck.
The owner, Mitch Lazeren, said since they announced the closing, the restaurant has been swarmed with patrons.
He said he??s overwhelmed over the amount of customers coming in, adding they are running out of food thus forcing them to close sooner than planned.
"It??s been out the door since this morning," said Lazeren. "Unfortunately we're not going to be open Sunday. We will run out of a majority of the food today."He cited wage increases, rising food costs, increased taxes and a changing economy as reasons for the closure. Bonanza??s closure comes after 37 years in business.
