Sat, 20 Apr 2013 23:14:35 GMT — Close to 70 put on their bowling shoes to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marquette and Alger Counties Saturday. BBBS is holding their 23rd annual Bowling For Kids' Sake event at Country Lanes in Ishpeming. It's a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and money raised goes towards pairing kids with a big brother or big sister. Eight-year-old Trinity Kerstetter decided to bowl with her big sister to support the fundraiser. She has been a little sister for nearly a year and says it has been a great experience. "I think it's awesome. It's great that you can actually spend time with another woman and actually get to know each other," said Kerstetter. Bowling For Kids' Sake continues next weekend at Superior Lanes in Marquette. Big Brothers Big Sisters hopes to raise at least $40,000 by next weekend.
