The Calumet man facing felony charges involving cocaine appeared in Houghton County District Court on Friday morning for his arraignment.
Douglas Lloyd Loven was arrested on August 14 during an undercover investigation by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team. The 50-year-old man faces a charge of delivering or manufacturing less than 50 grams of cocaine, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
Loven pled not guilty at his court appearance. He is currently out on a $25,000 surety bond, but a preliminary hearing date has not yet been set.
