A Calumet man involved in a fatal traffic crash in Keweenaw County over the weekend is now facing three felony charges.
David Paul Simons, 38, has been arraigned on charges of operating while intoxicated causing death, driving on a suspended license causing death, and failure to stop at the scene of an accident causing death.
Simons was the driver of a car early Saturday morning that left the road and hit some trees. His passenger, 53-year-old Jeffrey Brusso of Allouez Township, was killed in the crash. Simons is back in court on Thursday.
