Children hit the big stage in the last day of the music festival

Sunday was the final day of the Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival and a lot of emphasis was put on the kids. Children worked on building their own instruments, from drums to guitars. Each child put their own spin on the instruments they made. The weekend proved that the music festival is not just for adults, there is a lot that kids enjoyed as well.

"The music and hanging out with a bunch of people. Everyone's having a good time," said James Garrow.

While instruments were being made, they were able to listen to some children's entertainment and practice their new instruments. After the kids made their instruments, a big parade was held and all of the children were able to show off their new way to play cool tunes.
