The Iron County Historical Museum in Caspian has quite the showcase of decorated Christmas trees for public viewing. It's called the Christmas Tree Galleria. This is the 24th annual galleria, and showcased are individually decorated trees by members or organizations within the community. Some are decorated in memory of a loved one, others are simply themed. Also at the museum are donated gift baskets as part of a raffle to take place this Sunday.
â??All the gift baskets have been donated; we have 41 of them this year,â?? said museum employee, Bernadette Passamani. â??People can come and get their tickets anytime now through Sunday.â??
The galleria will be open on Saturday, November 16, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and on Sunday, November 17, from 1 until 4 p.m., with the raffle taking place between 2 and 4 p.m.
