The Abundant Life Outreach Church held their first ever harvest dinner Sunday at the Masonic Temple in downtown Marquette.
The dinner was a way to celebrate Thanksgiving with church members. But the meal was far from traditional. The group decided to spice it up a bit by having a chili dinner. They served three different kinds of chili, baked potatoes, and desserts.
"Just we're family. So to a lot of these folks they don't have any family so for us to be able to come today and celebrate that and be able to enjoy that its exciting for all of us," said Pastor Bryan Langston.
The dinner was open to everyone in the community.
