Improvements on the city park in Iron Mountain are still going, thanks to a grant from the Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant.
Major paving improvements have been made in the park, and new trails have been created.
Bathrooms are also being added. Residents said they're looking forward to spending more time at the park with its new additions.
"I guess it's a good project for the community to get together and have a place that they can go to ride bikes, or walk, or take their dogs or kids. It's safe," said Stephanie Hiltunen, park visitor.
The grant money used gives the city three years to finish the projects. This is the city's second year working on the park.
