Itâ??s quite a day in the TV 6 Weather Center. The combination of cold air and winds are pushing the wind chills well below zero. Many areas along the Lake Superior shoreline are receiving snow as well.
A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for Gogebic, Ontonagon, Iron, Baraga, Dickinson, and southern Houghton counties until 7 AM on Sunday morning. Wind chills colder than 25 below zero are possible across the counties with the advisory. If you head outside, make sure to protect yourself and cover all exposed skin. It is also important to make sure that pets stay inside for as long as possible.
A Lake Effect Snow Advisory is also in effect for Ontonagon, Keweenaw, Alger, Luce, and Southern Houghton counties.
