The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first ever town wide rummage sale this Saturday at 9 a.m.
After seeing the success other cities have had, they decided a rummage sale is a good opportunity to bring the community together. More than 50 residents from Negaunee, Ishpeming and the surrounding townships are participating.
This gives people a chance to find trinkets at a deal.
"It's going to hopefully grow next year," said Ashley Geist of the GINCC. "So I hope that it'll be something that can become a staple event every summer, and I hope it'll bring the communities together."
If you're looking to see which houses are participating, you can pick up a map and a list of locations at the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce in Ishpeming in front of Jubilee Foods on US-41.
