The cooler wet conditions we've seen this summer hasn't stopped people from camping at Perkins Park campground in Big Bay.
Officials say business is up a little compared to last year. Out of 76 sites during the week it's a third full, but the weekends are almost completely booked.
Most people visiting are from the Marquette County area, although some are tourists from Wisconsin.
"We may have had a few cancellations from local people who didn't want to brave the cooler temperatures on the weekend," says campground manager Kim Bourgeois. "Most of the people that are here come equipped for rain and cold and they find other things to do if they can't get out on the lake or the beach."
The most popular sites are the ones along the lake and beach. Sites are almost booked up for August.
