Dental center buying back candy to send to troops

The John Fornetti Dental Center in Iron Mountain is participating in a program to satisfy the troops overseas who have a sweet tooth. On November 1 after Halloween, anyone can come into the dental center with candy which they will buy back for a dollar a pound. The bought candy will then be sent overseas to deployed U.S. service members as part of Operation Gratitude.

??A few of us here have gotten into it and we always want to give back to who is giving to us; and our troops, if this can support them in any way, we're all for that,?? said Karen Larson, with the center. The buy-back program will take place between 3 and 5 p.m. Central. The center is located at 100 South Stephenson Avenue in Iron Mountain.
