The Tough Mudder is a nationally-recognized competition, a type of â??survival of the fittestâ?? course as contestants race through mud and electricity to the finish line. This weekend the race will be held in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and a special team in Iron Mountain is participating for a good cause.
Employees at the John Fornetti Center are doing the Tough Mudder together, and their hearts are in the right place.
The competition raises funds for the Wounded Warrior Project, and the dental office is doing their own part to help raise money. â??Weâ??ve been having lots of good responses from our patients and family members,â?? said dental hygienist, Ewa Papciak. â??We already raised over $1,400 and Dr. John is matching all the donations, so we're going to have a really good check to present at the event.â??
If you are interested in donating to the cause, the staff encourages you to swing by their office before this Friday to contribute.
