Dinner and music at Westwood High School

Music students at Westwood High School are hard at work, getting ready for their annual Dinner Show this Saturday night. The school's Voices in Motion and Jazz Band will be performing at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

The cost is $15 per person for the dinner and the show. Proceeds benefit the school's music program. The vocal group is performing a wide variety of songs that WHS senior Nathan Pohlman described as "crowd pleasers."

"Last year, everyone really enjoyed it and they said the food was very good," said Pohlman. "We have worked so hard on this that everyone, I think, will just enjoy it in the end, and our hard work will pay off."

As of Wednesday morning, there were only about 40 tickets left for sale out of about 200 seats that were available. It is unlikely that there will be any left at the door. You can buy tickets in advance in person at the WHS principal's office.
