Dozens of dogs took over parts of the U.P. State Fairgrounds Saturday. The Bay de Noc Kennel Club hosted their Spring Agility Trial.
More than 30 dogs participated in the competitions. Each trial had a different obstacle course for handlers to guide their dogs through. Some included tunnels, teter totters, hoops, and tires.
"Well, the first run was not that good. He ran... zoomed across the whole entire course and didn't do anything. The second run he settled down and he did good. He got, I believe the score was 197 and he got his title." said handler Linda Larson
If the dog successfully completed the course they earned a title, and an opportunity to advance to the next level.
