An Amberg, Wisconsin man has been arrested after crashing his vehicle into a utility pole in Iron Mountain. The accident happened on the 200 block of Fourth St. at 3:29 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say the utility pole was sheared in half. The 55-year-old driver was unresponsive when officers arrived on the scene.
He was taken to Dickinson County Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. He was then arrested and taken to jail for suspected driving under the influence of drugs. His name has not been released yet.
The Iron Mountain Fire Department, Beacon Ambulance and WE Energies also responded to the scene.
