      Driver killed in weekend crash

      A DeTour, Michigan woman is dead after a crash on M-134 in Clark Township over the weekend, according to the Michigan State Police.

      Police say that 66-year-old Joann Fountain's vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with an oncoming vehicle on Saturday at 1:37 p.m. Police believe a medical condition caused her to cross the centerline. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

      The driver of the other vehicle, a 65-year-old man from Cedarville, was taken to War Memorial Hospital where he was treated for injuries received in the crash and released.

      The Michigan State Police is still investigating the crash, but they said that both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
