      Driver sent to hospital after two vehicle crash

      A woman had to be rescued from her vehicle after a T-bone crash left her pinned.

      The accident happened a little before 9 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Baldwin Avenue in Negaunee.

      Negaunee City Police say a 16-year-old female driving a 2006 Pontiac Montana failed to yield while turning from US-41 E. onto southbound Baldwin Avenue. The Pontiac struck an eastbound 2014 Subaru Forester driven by 28-year-old Danae MacDonald of Sioux City, IA. The 16-year-old was cited for failur to yield within intersection. MacDonald was injured and transported to Marquette General Hospital. She sustained no life-threatening injuries.
