      Drug house hearing

Two of the three Manistique residents facing marijuana charges were in Schoolcraft District court for a Preliminary hearing today. The other entered a plea bargain this morning.

Jeffrey Durkin, Shane Henry and Addie Jo Bradley were charged with manufacturing over 100 marijuana plants, conspiracy to manufacture over 100 plants and maintaining a drug house. These charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison.

This morning Bradley pled guilty to possession of marijuana, a one year misdemeanor. In exchanged, she agreed to testify.

After a request for continuance from both sides, the court adjourned.

Last month Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team detectives found nearly 6 pounds of marijuana and over 100 plants within their residences on East Elk Street.

No further court dates have been set at this time.
