A different sort of market was held Friday over in the Great Lakes Rooms on NMU's campus
The Vintage Indie Market started at 4p.m. Until 9p.m.
The market featured 11 different local merchants, with an array of items ranging from clothing and accessories, to hollistic healing products.
T his is the first time for the market, and organizers say it's a wonderful way to get local merchants and their unique products out there.
"We wanted to get local vendors together and king of come together as one, and put on a show together to make a bigger event," said Madeline Goodman, Organizer & Co-Owner of Dharma Threads.
"So, we've all got a very unique style and niche in vintage, and we're all here," said Jessica Wolf, Organizer & Co-Owner of Dharma Threads.
Organizers say they hope to have another market around the holiday season.
