A 77-year-old Iron Mountain woman is recovering after being pinned in a crash on Monday afternoon.
Ida Nord was driving on M-95 when police say she tried to overtake a vehicle, noticed another vehicle attempting to overtake her and over corrected, losing control of her vehicle. The Michigan State Police say that Nord's vehicle entered the ditch and overturned, pinning her inside.
She was extracted from the vehicle and taken to Dickinson County Hospital for treatment. Police say Nord was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.
