A 31-year-old Escanaba man accused of assaulting a Bark River man last December entered a plea in court Tuesday.
Jeffrey William Dickerson pled guilty to one count of larceny from a person. It carries a possible sentence of up to ten years in prison. Dickerson also pled guilty to two counts of possession of analogs, punishable by up to two years in prison and a $2,000 fine. Authorities say Dickerson hit the victim over the head with a glass bottle to obtain illegal drugs. He was arrested after a brief foot chase when he ran from police following a traffic stop. Dickerson will be sentenced May 29.
