Even with a wind chill of negative four degrees, the weather did not stop the annual Escanaba Christmas parade from taking place. Some families bundled up in snow suits, while others watched from the warmth of their cars.
The parade has been taking place for over fifty years.
Starting at the Civic Center, heading east down Ludington St., then ending near City Hall, the parade continued for an hour.
Each family member has their own favorite part of the parade.
Nine-year-old Natalie Turangeau said, â??I like it when they walk the dogs because I love the dogs, because the dogs are so cute, you know?â??
The spectators are hoping for a warmer parade night next year.
