Escanaba is preparing for the annual Fall Family Festival Saturday.
The YMCA of Delta County, or the Northern Lights YMCA, hosts the event each year as a family-friendly day full of free activities. The YMCA is offering bounce houses, hayrides, an open swim in the facility's pool, and even a free pumpkin for every child. The festival typically attracts over 500 people each year.
"We want to provide free things for the family out there. We also want the family to come in and just come and use the pool, maybe go into the bounce house, take a hayride. We just want it to be a family fun event for everyone," said Event Organizer Mary Gauthier.
The Fall Family Festival takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the YMCA on Bay College's campus.
