Local creative talent in Iron Mountain got a chance to show off their crafts for a good cause Saturday. The annual Mini Fair and Bazaar at Trinity United Methodist Church in Iron Mountain hosted a lunch, craft and bake sale, and resale Saturday to raise money for missions. Typically they raise $5,000 each year, and they say it looks promising they'll raise or exceed that amount once again this year due to high attendance.
"There's so many people in need, and we certainly are able to help out, and at this time I think there are more people in need than ever. We need to be helping out as best we can," said Dawn Riutta of the fair committee.
The money raised from the event goes to the district United Methodist fund.
