2012 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year Jennifer Pharr Davis visited to tell her tales of hiking.
IN 2011, Pharr Davis and her husband Brew hiked the 2,181 mile Appalachian Trail in just 46 days.
That's about 47 miles per day!
She set a record as the fastest person, and first woman, to hike the trail that quickly.
Pharr Davis gave a presentation today about her Appalachain Trail hike, as well as numerous other adventures that took her all around the world.
She says she's hiked over 12,000 miles total on six continents.
"I wanted to know what my best was. I wanted to give all of my energy and strength to a trail that I really loved. And I just wanted that answer. You know, what is it to give 100 percent? And so I think just that curiosity and a love of endurance led me to try for the record," said Pharr Davis.
