The annual Finn Fun Day is coming to the Negaunee Township Hall this Saturday.
The event brings together Upper Peninsula residents to celebrate their Finnish heritage and enjoy live music, food and shopping. This year they've also lined up a genealogist who'll be giving a presentation. Organizers say the Finn Fun Day is all about celebrating the area's rich Finnish history.
"This is going to be an opportunity to hear some excellent talent and to socialize with people while you're listening," says organizer Ron Hill. "It's just a great social event with a lot of fun, a lot of excitement and a lot of enjoyment."
This will be the fifth year for the event. The Finn Fun Day runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. There's no cost to attend.
