Flu season is starting up again, which is why health professionals are encouraging people to start thinking about getting their flu shot. In Florence County, the health department has set up specific flu shot clinics to meet the county's needs.
Throughout the entire month of October, the department has scheduled clinics in Aurora, Florence, Long Lake, and Fence. While these clinics are in October, the department does say that by setting up an appointment, people can receive the immunization up until February.
??We ask people to bring insurance cards with them, and it's a $30 fee for adults,?? said department director, Annette Seibold. ??We have several clinics throughout the county that we're offering the flu immunization.??
The flu clinic schedule is as follows:
-Long Lake Town Hall on Tuesday, October 8 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
-Fence Town Hall on Wednesday, October 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
-Florence Town Hall on Thursday, October 17 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
-Hillcrest in Aurora on Wednesday, October 30 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
