Theodore Frederick II was sentenced Tuesday at the Delta County District Court. He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon after threatening residents and staff with a knife at Country Acres Adult Foster Care in November.
Lawyer John Bergman, Jr. read Frederick??s statement.
??If I could take it back I would," he said. "I??m engaged to be married in 10 months. Please give me a little leniency. I am sincerely sorry for all of my actions and justice for all. Thanks for your time.??
Honorable Judge Glenn Pearson ordered Frederick to be placed on probation for six months. Pearson also suspended the imposition of any jail at this time and is not ordering any fines or costs due to Frederick??s financial situation.
The probation department will continue to verify with Pathways and Frederick??s social worker that he is complying with the rules of his new adult foster care and probation.
